As i have always said, the insurer argument that increasing repair cost will drive up premiums , is utter bollocks.. the underwriting of premiums base on associated anticipatory risk also is….in fact insurers just make it up as they go along and feed fodder through the ABI to brainwash those he cannot be arsed to research.
I have recentley carried out some research on underwriting as a result of a consultancy i did, i have a NDA on it, so cannot disclose facts and what i presented, but based of what i have researched, on premium rate, amount of people insured, and pay out given,premiums should be about £150 -£300.
