The Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB) has named its new COO in the form of Anna Fleming, the acting chief claims officer at Zurich.
Fleming is expected to bring her knowledge and experience of transformational claims programmes to MIB this autumn.
At MIB, Fleming will have responsibility for the compensation body’s claims operations along with enforcement and data services.
“We are delighted that Anna is joining us at this important time in our development,” said MIB chief executive Ashton West.
“Her appointment completes the restructured executive leadership team at MIB and strengthens our ability to continue to transform and improve our services to claimants, the insurance industry and all of our partners,” West said.
A qualified solicitor, Fleming has held senior roles at Zurichsince 2004, including property claims director and director of claims supply and services.
In 2011, Fleming was appointed business programme director, running the significant change programme to introduce Guidewire Claim Center to Zurich claims’ operations.
